Be a part of a week long variety show in Ithaca NY from April 27th to May 3rd, 2026
Old Greeny Fringe Fest is a celebration of all that makes Ithaca unique, weird and wonderful, but in particular…the lake monster. We need volunteers to make this all possible.
FESTIVAL SCHEDULE
Monday, April 27th- Movie night at the Ithaca Farmers Market
Tuesday, April 28th- Waterfront Parade and a few community events
Wednesday, April 29th- Evening events
Thursday, April 30th- Late afternoon and evening events
Friday, May 1st- All day events
Saturday, May 2nd- All day events
Sunday May 3rd- Afternoon showcases and carnival
VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES
Some of the volunteer roles and responsibilities are listed below:
- Assisting performers with event set up and take down
- Assisting with community activities
- Moving chairs and tables for events
- Checking in attendees, selling tickets
- Running items to venues
- Managing audiences, getting on stage and sharing important information with attendees
VOLUNTEER BENEFITS
All volunteers will get performer pricing to see shows. This allows you to get tickets to any show for just $5 regardless of the ticket price.
In addition, you will have access to the Old Greeny Hub at The Cherry Arts during open hours on days that you are volunteering. You are welcome to attend shows in this venue for free by watching from the mezzanine, or you can take a seat in the theatre if there are open spots.
You must be able to attend a volunteer orientation on Zoom on April 23rd or 24th, 2026.
All volunteers will be required to check in at the Old Greeny Hub in the Cherry Arts prior to shifts.
We will accept volunteer applications until April 19th, 2026.
