I’m really excited about bringing an opportunity for kids to showcase their creative minds and talents. Oftentimes the youth of the world are overlooked and undervalued, especially when it comes to the arts. I love that we get to host a space that allows kids to be kids to celebrate and show off their weird, wacky, and whimsical art.
Who is Lily? What does she do for OGFF and beyond?
As a Lake Monster Expert, I’ll be helping organize our family friendly events and the marketing of OGFF. I am currently a graduate student at Ithaca College in the MBA in Entertainment and Media Management program. I graduated from IC in May with an interest in pursuing event management for live events. This past summer, I worked for IC as an Orientation Coordinator planning fall orientation for the new students. I had the opportunity to run individual events targeted to specific students based on their interests. I’ve assisted running several social media accounts including the Ithaca College Women’s Track and Field Team and the Ithaca College Southhill Entertainment account.
Lily was also recently celebrated by receiving the IC Liberty League Performers of the Week award for Women’s Track and Field – Field Performer of the Week two weeks in a row! Our OGFF team is honored to have her as driving force behind our event marketing and event coordination.
